Overview

LiRo provided the engineering services required to convert an existing office building into a 33,000 sf medical facility that included an infusion suite, a PAT suite, and an imaging suite. Each suite was designed to operate independently from the others to allow for flexibility of schedule and operations. The infusion suite consisted of positive pressure isolation rooms, negative pressure isolation rooms, support offices, consultation spaces, a conference room, and three nurse stations. The infusion suite also included a USP‐797/ 800 compliant pharmacy with an ISO‐7 environment for mixing the sterile compounds of the suite.

Project Challenges & Solutions

LiRo worked with the client and end users for each suite to ensure the environmental and power needs of the individual spaces were met. Patient comfort and experience was a major component of the success of the space.
