Since our inception, we have been providing owner’s project management (OPM) and program management services to a wide array of both public and private clients. Highlighting this long-standing history, specifically in the New England region, was our involvement with the establishment of the Massachusetts Public Procurement laws, particularly the 1990 Procurement Act, and the 2004 establishment of OPM requirements for public agencies, construction management at risk (CMR) options, and the contractor prequalification system.
Over time these services have amassed to include proficiency in design and full-service testing and inspectional services for quality of construction, soil, concrete, rebar, and steel, and welding, creating a larger, more efficient, and economical approach. Our diverse staff brings backgrounds in design, engineering, general and sub-trade contracting, as well as management.
We manage the design and construction in various markets, including higher education, K-12 schools, community buildings, transportation work, institutional facilities, and private developments. Notable projects include providing program management for concurrent projects at Northeastern University; a $200 million science center; complete oversight of a three elementary school program for the Town of Watertown, MA; the award-winning Tufts Library for the Town of Weymouth, MA; projects for The University of Massachusetts Building Authority; and working with the State of Connecticut on the rehabilitation of the Osborn Correctional Facility.
Our combined expertise in safeguarding client interests, coupled with our deep understanding and support for the risks and responsibilities of design teams and builders, has led to the successful, timely, and cost-effective completion of hundreds of projects.
