Rye Playland officially opened over Memorial Day weekend with free admission and a limited selection of rides. The park’s team worked quickly to accelerate the reopening after a private operator withdrew, leaving Rye Playland with the challenge of catching up on critical preparations. Ride inspections for safety are currently underway, with attractions set to reopen on a rolling basis.
