Peter brings two decades of experience as a professional civil and structural engineer, leading the design and management of projects ranging from intricate site upgrades and renovations to large-scale, multi-phase developments. His portfolio spans institutional, infrastructure, healthcare, higher education, commercial, and private development work for high-profile clients including NYC Parks, NYC DOT, Massport, DASNY, SUNY, The United Nations, Mount Sinai, MSKCC, RXR, Vornado, and Lennar.
A recognized leader and trusted advisor, Peter combines technical expertise with an intuitive understanding of client priorities—translating complex challenges into practical, effective solutions. His approach is rooted in a deep knowledge of engineering best practices, project flow, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Beyond his project work, Peter has contributed to the profession as a lecturer at Cooper Union and Pratt Institute, authored a sustainability reference guide, and co-authored a white paper on disaster resilience. He is also a certified safety evaluator and emergency responder for post-hurricane and earthquake recovery, and has served on the NYC Department of Buildings’ Building Code Committee.
Peter is licensed as a Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Illinois, California, Oregon, and Washington. He holds credentials as a DBIA Associate, NYC Qualified Retaining Wall Inspector, NYC Qualified Parking Structure Inspector, and LEED AP. He earned his Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Geomechanics from Stanford University and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University.
