At LiRo, Joe leads the Architecture Business Unit and is responsible for directing all architectural activities, including design services, program management, interiors planning, and construction administration.

As a former Principal and Director of Operations for an international architectural firm’s regional office, Joe’s responsibilities have included developing each market sector, managing and mentoring staff, as well as delivering complex new building, renovation and modernization projects to their successful completion. Clients have included municipalities, institutions, the federal government and corporations. He has successfully managed multi-disciplined teams on high profile projects with a focus on communication, collaboration, and a high level of quality/timeliness in exceeding client objectives. He has over 40 years of experience and an extensive portfolio with projects totaling more than 40 million square feet represented by diverse building types from 4-story to 68-story high rise structures.

Joe received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, New York. He is a licensed Registered Architect in New York State and holds the American Institute of Architects (AIA) designation.
