Rocco L. Trotta, P.E., Chairman of the Board

Since he co-founded LiRo in 1984, Rocco L. Trotta has molded this firm from a small group specializing in construction administration to one of the top construction management and engineering firms in the country. Mr. Trotta built on its foundation, steadily expanding LiRo’s scope of services and clients. He brought in key people with a wide range of expertise in design, construction management, architecture, environmental engineering, and construction scheduling. They helped manage the company and provided the technical excellence and personal service that have become the hallmarks of LiRo’s success. Accelerating LiRo’s growth were acquisitions which reinforced the firm’s capabilities in engineering and architecture.

Rocco Trotta’s leadership and contribution to the engineering profession has been realized in many ways, typified by his being named in 1996 as Engineer Of The Year by the New York State Society of Professional Engineers. He has also been highly recognized in the community and was honored by numerous local organizations. The majority owner and shareholder, he remains actively engaged in directing the firm.
