VP/ Division Leader, GIS and Survey
Richard Annitto heads LiRo's GIS and Survey Division. With a wide range of competencies in geospatial information and location services, as well as advanced technology solutions and architecture, he has an exceptional ability to accurately translate client requirements into functioning solutions. He has been a leader in the GIS community in the NY metropolitan area for more than three decades and is certified Geographic Information System professional.
Throughout his 30-year career, he has played a major role in significant public and private GIS projects, and developed LiRo's GIS practice in the areas of public safety, land records, survey/GIS integration, and asset management. Some significant projects that Mr. Annitto successfully led include the development of Digital Tax Map (DTM) database for the NYC Department of Finance, and the development of the Citywide Street Centerline (CSCL) dataset and maintenance system for the NYC Department of City Planning (DCP) and the Department Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT). CSCL was created to support the dispatch operations of NYPD and FDNY and has successfully been used to process hundreds of millions of E-911 calls in the City.
Mr. Annitto holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems, both from the University of Connecticut.
